The other historical of Bali’s culture and religion
Legend 1
In addition to the island of the gods ( Pulau Dewata ) there is also dubbed as the " thousand pure or thousand temple or seribu pure" majority because there are Hindu by religion and almost all are pure Hindu religion remains particularly heyday began in the fall of Majapahit . Where it is believed the monks fled to the island of Bali and spread the Hindu religion . It's like the myth of the majority of the people of Bali , especially in tourist areas " lot of land " there is believed to be a holy ascetic monk and Moksha ( gone but not since died but it is believed at one with nature )  and the appearance of highly venomous sea snakes when low tide was believed to be the belt holy monks , so many people who kiss the sea serpent 's head , according to the guard that during our hearts pure bad things can't happen ( but who is able to measure the purity of heart so my advice , if you and your family take the time to come to Bali , do you do the kiss of death because it is very risky , let only people there who believe it ).
